Jan Cox – Author and Illustrator of A Better Way
In 2001, Jan gave her life to Christ. She is a member of two cross-Canada Christian writers’ groups, The Word Guild and Inscribe.
Inspired after reading Mary Weaver’s book, ‘Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World’, Jan decided to create ‘A Better Way’, using both her talents as a writer and an artist.
Jan is a former teacher and business woman. She has published devotionals and articles. Her Bible Study based on Ed Hird’s book, ‘Battle for the Soul of Canada’, is available for a free download at http://spiritfilledcanada.wordpress.com.
Jan started studying watercolour in 1995 at The Haliburton School of the Arts.
She has been married to Wayne for forty years. They have three grown children and five grandchildren. They currently spend their summers with their dog, Snowball, in Haliburton, Ontario and winters in Mesa, Arizona.
One of her favourite things is to tell others about what God has done in her life.
